Careless and Clueless

I had several items damaged because the movers were not careful with items that I told them were expensive and needed extra care. They damaged a couple of chairs by scraping them up against things-not wrapping the legs properly. My armoire was brought down stairs and they didn't hold onto it so it hit every stair. I am sick about my two chairs-there are so many scrapes and chips on them. One of the guys was new and obviously didn't have a clue and was moving things down the staircase without wrapping them and when I said something he said he was being careful as he scraped the wall with my chair. Horrible, horrible horrible-do jnot use unless your furniture is ready for the dump!! The receptionist who took the order also was clueless. I gave her the gate code twice and yet she failed to give it to the drivers who then proceeded to call me and tell me they couldn't get in the gate. The company lacks the qualities necessary to make moving easier. I can get over communication mistakes but damaging items that they should know how to move carefully is totally unacceptable.
