I read review on this site, and contacted the company. The local president responded to my inquiry, to my satisfaction. We scheduled the move for the second appointment on Saturday, February 2nd. It snowed and was brutally cold, but the move went on as planned.
We had a very full two bedroom two bath single story apartment to move to a two bedroom, two bath townhome about 20 minutes from the apartment both in suburban Illinois.
We were contacted about 1 hour before their arrival. They arrived with ease and required little instruction to get started. The entire apartment was empty in <1.5 hour. We provided them with a printed map and directions to our new place and my husband travelled by car with them to let them in and coordinate unloading.
We were told in advance that payment would be due before they would unload and had no problem with that.
I stayed behind at the apartment for 10-15 minutes and then went on to the new place. By the time I arrived they were nearly 1/2 way through unloading. Unloading took ~1 hour.
All three movers were polite and pleasant. The people at the office were also polite and helpful.
We just made an offer on a house and will be moving in less than 30 days. I plan to call them to schedule our next move.
