I emailed then called to discuss my move with a company representative. I explained that I was making an appointment and that I would be out of town the week prior to my move and would NOT be available by phone for confirmation. I reserved the elevator at my apartment building based on the data given me by the representative that they would be there at 9 am to move me. We agreed that the movers were scheduled for a 9 to 1pm move.
Guess who wasn't here because they didn't get a confirmation call?? AFTER I SAID I WOULDN'T BE GIVING ONE DUE TO BEING OUT OF TOWN?? The weird part is, they did schedule me for 1 pm but didn't bother to tell me about rescheduling me. I fired them, if they can reschedule me for 1pm, not call me to tell me then they can keep a 9 am appt. They are not worth calling.
