I had what I thought was a simple local move - less than 10 miles. It was a disaster and I would NOT recommend using All My Son's in the Raleigh region.
Issues included:
Sent a crew of 2 for a 3-4 man job - TOOK FOREVER - VERY SLOW
Wrong sized truck - had to make 2 trips and sent a second crew (who didn't stay after they dropped off the items)
Inexperienced movers - didn't know how to lift and carry items appropriately
Movers argued over how to load the truck - and didn't do it correctly
Damaged walls at pick up and drop off location - holes in drywall, large dents in walls
Damaged furniture
Didn't take care of protecting items
This list goes on an on...
For the amount I paid FOR A LOCAL MOVE - this was not acceptable!
Mover be warned!!
