This was the first time that we ever paid a moving company by the hour. It will be the last time too. How fast do you suppose they would move if they had to move more than one family in a day? Then consider how fast they would move if they were paid the same hourly rate, whether it was to move 1 or 10 families......

Then they also started the clock as soon as they pulled in the drive. So we paid three guys to wander around and assess the items to be moved. That took 30 minutes right there. Then Ezekiel informed us that they had another one hour before completion, and proceeded to work on our payment at that time. The other two stood around, so I said "so I have you guys until 11:30, right?' I even named the time that I paid up to. They said yes, and I proceeded to put them to work moving the bedroom furniture and putting the table back together. When I turned around, they were pulling out of the driveway. At 11:10. At $122 per hour, I really, really feel cheated. Don't even call them. I won't ever again.
