Office terrible, Crew good

I scheduled a move with All My Sons Moving due to the estimated price and the date/TIME availability. I had choices, and I chose AMS based on the criteria just mentioned. I arranged for friends to assist with my move on the day/TIME of the move, but AMS called me 20 minutes before the crew was to arrive 9am (window was 7am - 9am) to explain to me that they would not be there until noon. I was furious and told them they needed to be at my pickup address at the time specified (7 - 9am) as that was the key in my decision to use them. I was told of the many problems the company had and that I had to wait (employee called in sick, truck was in the shop, crews were already working other scheduled jobs). I complained and told the person on the phone this was unacceptable and I wanted a significant discount for this inconvenience. No commitment from the AMS representative, but rather more condescending/arrogant treatment of a paying client. So, noon rolls around and surprise, no crew/no truck. I called again and was told there was a delay in one of the other crews and that I would get the best crew and they would throw in a 3rd person free of charge - but I had to wait until 3pm for them to arrive. 3pm comes and goes and I called yet again, and was told they were on the way - no discount or any other offer to ease my pain for this horrendous scheduling cluster. At 5pm the crew showed up ready to work - they started immediately and did a very good job wrapping furniture/etc and loaded the truck. The content were moved into climate controlled storage unit, but the job was not completed until 11pm. Adding insult to injury, I was pressured into paying the full amount (I argued this with the guy on the phone, but he insisted I pay in full and he would work a refund the next day). I paid the balance and the crew unloaded the truck and neatly placed the items in the storage unit. Nothing was damaged or broken. I called AMS back 3 different times asking to speak to someone that could work the discount issue and was told "she's not in the office today". All in all, a lack of integrity and customer care. AMS will not receive any of my future business nor any positive referrals - in fact, when asked, I will simply share my story and anyone who takes the risk, well, I paid the price for broken promises and careless employees in the office.
