Let me start of by saying I wish I would have read the reviews for this company before I decided to use their services. First, the movers were 30 minutes late because something was wrong with the truck. I understand that issues may come up. However, the move was not early in the morning and there was an opportunity to check the truck before they were supposed to come to my apartment. The movers were VERY slow at first. It took them 4 hours to move a two bedroom apartment, one of which was half empty. It would have taken them much longer had they not begun to move a little faster because one of the movers had to go to his other job. I could seriously tell the difference in how slow they were moving at my old apartment compared to when it was time to unload the truck. On the way to the next apartment, they asked if they could stop at the store to get something to eat and later charged me for the time that it took them to go to the store. It took them about 30 minutes to get to get to my new apartment, which is only about 1.5 miles from my previous apartment. To make unpacking easier, I marked where certain boxes should go. Many of the boxes were just placed in the living room which left me moving them to the designated room by myself. One mover complained a lot while doing the job. Once it was time for me to pay, I was it with charges such as a travel fees, 10% fee, and some other fees that were not explained or quoted when I booked the movers. At that point, I was so aggravated with the movers that I just paid the money so they could hurry up and leave. This is my second time using a moving company and I was not pleased with this service at all. Before, I used Two Men and a Truck and they were MUCH more professional AND cheaper than these people. Please do not use this company.
