Expensive, Find a More Local Company

I got three movers for $135 an hour. I I lived in a two bedroom townhouse with two queen beds (with SPLIT foundations), a dining set, a sleeper sofa and a loveseat, and misc side tables. THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE IN MY APARTMENT. We cleared out the rest of the place to make the move much cheaper. I was on the third floor but had an elevator that could fit a lot of stuff.
They got there on time but worked very slowly. For the first hour, only two guys were moving things, with another "organizing the truck". They did not get everything into the truck to leave for the new house until they were two hours deep. They really took their time wrapping the items and packing them nicely into the truck. They got everything moved into my raised ranch house in another hour and 25 minutes.
All said and done, they charged me for 3.25 hours, 1.5 hours for the ride (not aware I was getting charged for the whole ride), and 11% fuel surcharge for the ride. I essentially paid each guy $50 an hour.
Honestly, it was too expensive and I probably made the wrong choice in choosing them to move my stuff. I did not have enough money to even tip the guys. I should have chosen a local company.
I will not recommend only because a lot of time was lost due to organizing and lack of overall effort to move.
