If I could rate a negative number of stars, I would. I had an arrival window scheduled between 12-3pm on Thursday, May 30th, and had been contacted multiple times in the previous week to confirm my move date and time, and had even paid a $350 deposit. By 2:50pm on the 30th, I'd heard no word from anyone and called into All My Sons. After requesting a manager, I was transfered to a man that informed me that my movers were stuck on PGBT in a broken down truck and that they were awaiting the arrival of a new truck; I was not given a new timeframe to expect the truck, and after asking specific questions, learned that the previous job had not yet been completed - the truck was broken down with a full load of another person's items. It was further explained to me that it was impossible for movers to get to my home on the 30th, despite having had it prescheduled and a hefty deposit paid for, and in all actuality, it was unlikely the 31st would work either since I would be "fit in" once the other scheduled moves for that day were completed. My only real alternative, according to the "manager" I spoke with, was Saturday, June 1st. For those of you who understand contracts (something All My Sons has no regard for apparently), I could not just stay an extra day in my rental home and hope the property management company and the new tenants moving in after me would understand. I requested an immediate refund of my deposit and pretty much kept my fingers crossed that they would honor it. Of course, I did contact my bank and submitted a fraud complaint too. I did end up getting my refund, although it took All My Sons a full week to refund my money, and I did end up finding an alternate moving company to show up very early on the morning of the 31st (they actually indicated I was about the 10th caller they'd heard from that had been duped by All My Sons that day). I will never use All My Sons, and strongly urge others to find an alternative company.
