They quoted me one price over the phone, 100 bucks to come out and than 50 dollars an hour after.
The day of the move they called (sounded intoxicated) and asked if we still needed them. OF course we did thats why we hired movers. They were suppose to arrive at 8am, but didnt get there until 945am or so.
We had almost all items in our garage and they just had to move 2 beds, 2 tvs and 2 dressers. Everything else was in garage.
It still took them about 2 hours. (not sure how it was possible since Me and 13 yr old daughter only took an hour to put everythhgn else in garage.)
Arrival of new house, we do paper work and than the price is all the sudden over 1200 dollars. We called JAY (WHO WAS USELESS) and we made a partial payment and agreed on rest to be paid friday.
I SHOULD ALSO STATE THEY DONT OWN THEIR OWN TRUCK. THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THEIR RENTAL FEE.
Items were laying all over the truck when they opened the doors.
Items damaged:
Weber propane grill. about 400 dollars
Toolchest- about 200 bucks,
They took a chunk out of hardwood floor at old place. Not sure how to repair that.
We called JAY again with damages, havent heard back. We called about 4 times altogether and still nothing.
I have emailed as well and never heard back,
They will hear from my lawyer though soon enough.
We have used 2 guys and a truck iin the past and they were excellent. They were busy and so I went with this awful company.
I SHOULD HAVE WAITED FOR 2 GUYS AND TRUCK. THEY ARE WORTH THE WAIT.
Im so angry with all my sons company.
