I have mixed feelings about my experience with All My Sons Moving company. They were on time, very polite and efficient. They worked well together and did not waste time. However, there was one young man who managed to break several items. First of all he set an ottoman down on the porch rail.... right on top of a decorative pineapple shaped post which punctured a large hole in the bottom of the ottoman. Second, he broke the top off of my antique four poster bed. Then he broke the glass in the door of my antique bow-front china cabinet.
The crew manager was very nice and gave my the contact information for their insurance company.
Since I was able to glue the top of the bed post back on and the bottom of the ottoman isn't visable I only submitted a claim for $400.00 for the china cabinet. The response I got was insulting! I was told they would pay me $72.00 for a bow-front china cabinet that is over 100 years old.
Six months later I did get a check for $72.00 from All My Sons Moving Company, not their insurance company. Makes me wonder if there really is an insurance company or this is just AMS's way of blowing people off when they damage their belongings.
I will not use them again. Oh yeah, As they were leaving they pulled down my telephone lines with their truck. They looked at the lines and just kept going.
