Underquoted and Overpriced!

I was moving from one area of town to another (literally 7 miles away). They quoted me $300 for a two hour move or a one bedroom apartment. It took them 5 hours to move everything from door to door and I ended up paying $600!!! The two movers were very nice but one was very sluggish, taking his time and breaks every couple of trips. They had no water, so I gave them something to drink, but they kept taking breaks after this happened. I understand it is hot in Houston in the summer, but this shouldn't be added to my time either.
On the way to my new home (while being followed) the driver quit paying attention (his words, not mine) and instead of following me on a turn, kept going. I made sure to go slow and had him in my rear view the entire time and put my flashers on when I was making turns to signal a change was coming and he missed me. This added another 15 minutes to the move.
When I told management about the gross indiscretion of time (2 hours to 5), they said they couldn't do anything because I didn't have an official quote!!! They never mentioned anything about an official quote at any other time until I complained. How was I supposed to know that it wasn't official enough?
