incredibly poor communication

I called well in advance of my move ( 3 weeks ) and scheduled two moves, one to storage and one the next day to my new home. First call was smooth as glass, very helpful, caring etc. I received a confirmation email and was informed in writing and verbally everything was all set.
Called back week before the move and changed the date because there was a delay vacating my new home... could not find my original order, then found it and said everything okay.. everything all set.... did not receive a follow email... so called again... they said everything was all set and they were sorry about the email and would resend...
The afternoon before my move the next morning, Saturday afternoon, I received a call confirming my time etc. and was told that I must bring a $50 deposit that afternoon or they would cancel the move. I could not believe my ears... 2.30-3.00 in the afternoon the day before they want me bring them a deposit?? after over three weeks and several conversations and one email, (never received the second attempt on the second confirmation),
I said that was absolutely unacceptable and had they informed me sooner I would have come by, but no way to get to them before they closed so I would gladly have their $50 when they arrived in the morning... didn't make sense, but that's okay, I was trying to resolve the issue.
Her response was that I must take care of it now and what did I plan to do... I told her I couldn't do a damn thing about it at this time and should have been informed on any one of my previous communications or at least in the only email confirmation I received. She said that because I cursed she was canceling my move.
I apologized and said my comments were clearly not directed at her but in frustration that it was now too late for me to meet her demands. She hung up on me.
I called and after 6 attempts finally was able to speak with a supervisor who told me the same thing verbatim... how incredible is that...
The angels were watching over us as my wife's first call to an alternate was receive politely and they agreed to move us and showed up on time the next morning and were $60 an hour less...
When I was speaking with my neighbors and shared the experience... they said they would never use All My Sons again... tore up things, were late, were slow and on and on... couldn't believe it.. so things work out for the best and only wish I had found this site before ... bottom line... All My Sons is a bad choice.
