Though I rarely write reviews, this organization falls short in EVERY possible way; customer service, billing, timely execution, and damage free delivery. In my case, it was moving from a two bedroom/two bath apartment (1300 sq ft) to the same approximately 15-20 miles away. The actual move took in excess of 12 hours (and I ended up helping). This was absolutely absurd and as I replay it through my mind, have come to realize that this is simply how they do business; Provide an estimate over the phone ($300-350, of which I provided an actual piece count and sq. footage) and then have their employees work the time based on billable hours ($900+ final bill)… which works well for them especially if they do not have another job scheduled (that day or even during the week… one of the two movers slipped up on that).
I called the company (5 times, girlfriend 4, Local and Corporate offices)… and received zero satisfaction. I could go on and on regarding their ambiguous responses, but it was little more than canned responses to what I perceive to be a re-occurring practice.
In the end, furniture was damaged; my entertainment center had dents, dings, and chips of wood missing… leather furniture had a cigarette burn (the movers smoked… and I don’t)… chair leg broken… bedroom furniture dented and damaged, etc.
To those reading this, I will close by saying that on a scale of 1-10… I will give them a score of zero… Now please understand that this happened 4 months ago (I did not want to provide a knee-jerk or anger motivated assessment), but my evaluation remains unchanged. I caution anyone using All My Sons Moving
