I forgot some of the "particulars", seeing as how I hired "All My Sons" to move me over 10 years ago.
I will never forget, however, the horrible impression they left me with.
As with many others here, they price quoted me over the phone bore little resemblance to my final bill.
The estimate was for the job to take 4 hours, but the sloths they sent me took around 9 hours.
I was told I would be sent 3 movers.
Two were sent + a driver who did nothing but sit in the truck ALL DAY and smoke cigarettes.
Every time I took my eyes off the movers, they stopped working.
Get this: They even begged me to take them to Taco Bell for lunch!
And again, I too had my possession held hostage until I paid up.
To top it all off, after all the dust had settled, I noticed a few things of mine were missing.
This was AFTER I had given one of the movers a stairmaster I could not fit at my new place.
Ummm..."You're welcome...ass"
Look, I realize being a moving guy is a miserable and backbreaking job but it IS your job
so until you improve your lot in life, just do it right!
To all: Avoid "All My (Bastard) Sons" moving company at all costs (Pun intended!).
