My husband and I contacted the Richmond All My Sons for an estimate. Jim (I think) came out to our house to see what we were moving. He has the patience of a saint! My husband walked him around our acreage, showing him our barn as there was some furniture being stored out there. We were going to be moving some of our things and not others; our children were going to collect a few pieces of furniture before moving day. We were also moving some of our belongs to a storage unit approximately 6 miles from our new house. This didn't phase the estimator at all. He gave us a price that included all we needed. The price seemed resonable considering the size of our house (2600 sf) and the extra stop. The estimator had the business office contact us to follow up and Dominic was superb. What great customer service! You just don't find that kind of help these days.
On the actual moving day the men who arrived knew exactly what would be going on, so we know there is great communication at their office. We didn't have one problem. The moving truck was on time and the men who moved our belongings were very polite and FAST. We actually had the men move more than what we originally had planned on taking and they (the movers as well as the office) handled it all with professionalism. Yes, our move was more than the estimate. However, we chose to have the men do more than we had told the estimator.
All in all, nothing was damaged....not even our floors! Everything was accounted for and the men were so professional. If we ever need to move again, we will call the Richmond office right away. Good job!
