On 11-18-08 we hired All My Sons to move our items from West Allis, Wi to Middleton, Wi We were lucky to get partial payment from my employer so we decided to order full packing service with the move. The packers arriced at 9:00am on 11-17-08 to start the packing process. Our crew leader Mike went over the plan as far as the phases to complete the move. My wife was very nervous because we had countless cabinets full of glassware, mostly family heirlooms. The movers ended up using 16 large boxes for all the glassware. Now in every move I have exp. you always figured something is going to break. Everybox of glassware packed by Mike and Matt was in perfect shape upon unpacking. My wife was ecstatic! I couldn't have been anymore relieved.
For the moving part, aside from a minor confusion on the prep of some items, they loaded and unloaded three truck loads without a scratch. I do want to point out that our stuff is not the easiest to move. In fact, the last movers that brought our armoire into our West Allis home ended up putting a 7 foot gash in the floor from dragging it through the hallway. It apparently was heavier than wht they were used to.
Overall, despite the higher cost I am very satisfied with our expierence with All My Sons Moving & Storage and will recommend them to anyone.
