Dishonest, poor customer service

This moving company was the most unprofessional company I have dealt with in many years. They made verbal promises and even took a security deposit from us (which is not a normal process) with a guarantee to pick up on a certain date and re-deliver on a specific date. None of this happened. They had to contract with another vendor out of state to take our furniture less than 24 hours before they were due to arrive and only after numerous calls of frustration and after they told us they would not arrive. They lied to us on the phone over and over again. One person said their truck broke down in Florida and then in another breath said NY. Our furniture did not arrive for at least 2 more weeks. Had to pay our new lease plus additional expense to stay somewhere else during this time. The new mover was not even aware of the deposit being held by All My Sons until we told them. They were rude, did not return calls, saw no urgency in the matter and did nothing to assist us. The new mover was told that there was NO HURRY in getting the furniture to us which was an out and out lie. I would never recommend them to anyone. In addition I tried calling the Chicago office for a truck or assistance and they were even ruder ! I do hope for their sake and their business that they find and attend a class on giving good or excellent customer service.
