I took a gouging from this company. The price I was quoted over the phone at the call center was less than half of the actual cost!
I had a 2 bedroom apartment that should have taken less than 3 hours to move. It took over 5 hours! The drivers were very very slow... and they were charging me by the hour! One had a difficult time lifting heavy items and seemed inexperienced. Many times they carried one box at a time into the house. And they had trouble reading English so I had to tell them where to put most of the boxes. Again, they were very, very slow.
Halfway through the move I attempted to call the company as I was concerned about the amount of time it was taking. The first number was disconnected. When I finally call the quote line, I talked to a man who tried to transfer me to the local dispatch.... only I was disconnected. When I called back, I talked to the same woman, Randi, who gave me the original quote. I explained my concern about the mover taking so long. She said the local dispatcher would call me back. I rec'd no call back.
At the end of the move, the last item was brought to me. It was a floor lamp that had the pole broken from the base. The drivers tried to say the base was too heavy and I could glue it. Yeah, right. When I called the company again, Pat said they would send out a claim form. I rec'd the form in the mail and returned it and have yet to hear from them.
I would NOT recommend this company at all! I have warned all my neighbors in my former apartment complex as we are all moving.
