The movers came and asked me to initial a contract with the start time included but the end time blank. I was being asked to approve an end time before they even started! That should have been my warning.
They would work, slow, for 30 -45 minutes than take a 15 - 25 min break. It took them 7 hours to load a truck of 5 rooms and I had done all of the packing, they had to pack nothing! Of course this put them into overtime which I believe they were trying to do.
After they got to my new place, they doubled the estimate saying I had too much stuff, and asked if I accepted the terms before they unloaded the truck. What choice did I have, I wanted my stuff. Then they asked me to fill out an evaluation before they started unloading the truck. Unbelievable!
I had another company move me a year ago from a location 2 hours away, Friendly Movers, same stuff. They used 2 men and it took 6 hours including the driving time. I paid 2/3 less and no damage was done to my stuff. I gave them very good tips.
This move I only moved 30 minutes away and they charged me as much as my friend paid that moved across two states!
All My Sons used 3 men then called in 2 others and then they started moving like they should have initially. After they left, I found the railing in the home chipped, big chunks, my bedroom sets were scratched down to the wood and my daughters new touch IPOD was gone. I could not look over 5 men going to different rooms.
I will never, ever use this company or recommend again. They are a rip off company and the perfect example of the nightmare stories you hear on the news. The office clerk said she would look into my complaints and call me back, but of course she never did. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacting the State Attorney General's office.
