Wow, I hate to be one of the non 5-star reviews, but so it goes. Yes, the movers were quick and friendly XXXyes, they ran in between loads of boxes.
I hire movers because A) I'm lazy and B) I expect them to be good movers and protect my stuff.
Unfortunately, as quick and friendly as they were, there were still some glaring issues I had with the service. And really, I feel bad for even complaining, because they are definitely good movers for a good price, but the way they loaded my truck was haphazard at best XXXabout as good as I could do, but if I wanted a mover that could do as good as I can, I wouldn't hire movers, I'd do it myself.
For instance, we had one particular box that was heavily labeled as VERY FRAGILE and begged NOT TO PUT ANYTHING ON TOP of said box. When we went to unload our truck in the next town, that box XXXwhich housed a 100 year old, extremely-fragile lamp, had a 40 pound TV nestled on top. Yikes. Luckily, nothing was broken, but simply paying attention to what the box said could have earned another star.
