American Moving & Storage Services is not a moving company at least per my experience. They made a contract for $1243 with me and sold out that contract to third party. They didnt even take the responsibility to inform about third party movers. Here is what made me write this review
1. They called me for every 2 hours before making reservation
2. We both have agreed for an amount of $1243 out of which $243 was paid before pick up using credit card and I was told that I would be charged $1000 on the same card after delivery
3.I was promised 24-48 hours deivery. So i packed everything for pick up.
4. Reservation was made 3 days before delivery. But we were not informed about pick up driver details until we called them twice on the delivery day. This shows how caring the company about the customers.
5. We were waiting to hear from moving company about dispatch details. But they never called us after pick up. when I called the company, they never answered.
6. For almost 4 days moving company didnt have any IDEA about delivery date. This sounded me strange. They made promises before making reservation and they spoke like they didnt care about delivery date.
7. Driver showed up after 4 days and demanded $100 extra in cash to unload the stuff. Then I told him, I wouldnt pay untill we check it with moving company. He left the premises while I was talking to moving company.
8. Moving company said, I have to talk to driver and his boss and they cant help.
9. I had to call driver by myself and he didnt answer my call. I picked up a friend phone and called and pursuaded him to comeback.
So please if you think you can endure all this pain you can opt for their (sorry third party) services. leave alone I'm going back to these guys again, I would never recommend anyone to them.
