I contracted with All Star Vanlines but they work with All American Moving and Storage Co. There was sooo much confusion between what All Star promised me in terms of cost and delivery time and what All American was going to actually follow-through on. At the pick-up, they tried to charge me extra for stairs, packing up my frames/pictures, and for the amount of items that I have EVEN THOUGH I had a binding quote from All Star. Then, for the delivery, All Star said my items would be delivered on Jan 8th but it didn't come until Jan 12th. And, when it arrived, it was missing my futon frame. I saw the futon listed on the inventory list but someone clearly didn't pay attention to the list and forgot to load it with the rest of my items. I then had to repeatedly call the All Star office to make sure my futon would get delivered. It was such a challenging move - I had very few items to move but nothing was easy about the process. I recommend working with more professional and diligent movers.
