Warning Do not use ABS Movers! In my opinion, they are the WORSE moving company in the world! I decided to hire movers so I would not do heavy lifting. However, my sister and I did a lot of the work and we were bruised black and blue. The movers showed up 2 hours late! We schedule the elevator for only 4 hours. So when the movers showed up late we had to help them move because of the time restriction. The first hour went great! I had a male friend 6'6” moved everything to the elevator mostly by himself. The movers moved the stuff from the elevator to the truck. My friend had to leave; everything was out of my apartment and thought we should be done in the next 20 minutes or less. When my male friend left. Work completely stop! It was as if the movers were in slow motion. We gave them water, but they were just lazy. When the male friend left. It took the movers 3 hours to move a one bedroom apartment out and ONLY 1 hour to place the furniture in the apartment. I moved across the street so travel time was less than 5 minutes. I feel the movers wanted to milk a 2-hour move into a 4-hour move. How else can you example only 1 hour moving furniture in the apartment including travel? I feel ABS MOVERS ARE SEXIST! Moreover, do not use them useless you have a man around to make them work!
