I used this moving company on 3/13 for a very small 1 bedroom apt move. I moved less than 1 mile into a 2 bedroom apt. I packed all lose items prior to them arriving, all they had to do was move the boxes and the furniture.
I am upset b/c I was quoted $210.00 for 3 hrs/3 guys to move. 3 guys did show up, however it took 4 hrs. Also I got charged $350 more for packing materials they didn't use. They charged me $220 for boxes they NEVER used. Plus $84 for the use of moving blankets -XXXthey were so dirty and torn! They used like a 100 rolls of tape and bubble wrap which was left all over my old apartment floor, which I had to clean up! In the quote I received via email it says, free rental of boxes, so even if they used the boxes, how could they charge for them? A question the company couldn't answer when I called.
They then put a huge hole in my living room wall and stacked boxes up in front of it to hide it. I found the hole several days later when unpacking boxes! My apartment was a brand new unit and we conducted the walk thru an hour before and all of the walls were free of holes! There also was a huge scratch on my TV stand which went thru the wall.
I contacted the office so many times to discuss this issue. They NEVER called me back, so I called from my work # and someone answered. They must have thought it was new business. The man Constaine was so rude with me and didn't even care or listen to my complaints. He kept telling me there was no way this happened and he would issue a refund if these "allegations" were true. I fought with him for about 20 mins telling him I know for 200% certain no boxes were used. I was there the entire time of my move. He NEVER called me back; I have called several times froms everal different #'s and all I get is their answering machine.
The movers were very unprofessional and used foul language the entire time. I also heard them talking about their "bar/sex" outing the night before and I had to ask them to discuss that later.
I would never recommend this company to anyone b/c I was overcharged by $315 and I am disputing the charge with my bank, but no one should have to deal with this while moving. The stress of moving is enough. This company doesn't even respond or try to fix the siutation. Just terrible!
