We chose this company to move us from our highrise to a new home in the Houston area. They did tell us up front that the time window was not guaranteed, but they were 3 hours later than the estimated time window. In their defense, the sales manager stayed in contact throughout the day to give us updates on where the truck was, and we appreciated that. The move went smooth, the movers obviously were professionals, the truck was new and clean from best we could tell. They took extra care in wrapping and padding our items. Obviously, this adds time to the total bill, but as far as we were concerned, we appreciated the care in protecting our furniture, so it was a few extra minutes well spent to us.
The move went well into the better part of 1AM. I was expecting to be done before 9 that evening, and had to cancel dinner plans because of the time delay. I wrote in explaining my disappointment in how late the movers were. Not expecting to hear anything back, the sales manager called the same day and offered a $100 refund check to compensate for our cancelled plans. I graciously accepted and just wanted to pass on this type of service from a moving company. Most of these guys are jokers, and it was good to see someone that valued our business. They will definitely be our choice next time we move.
