This company damaged my bedroom set and I am sleeping on the floor for 3 days now waiting to hear if " Corporate" Will pay for the claim.
When the bed was broke we called Ben the manager who assured me that we would sign a Damage Report and either they would need to fix it or get a new one for me.
We signed a damage report- but we were mislead into signing what was explained to us as a " Bodily Injury" release but was actually written that we would release them of liability over damage to items since we felt the need to help the moveres move - because one of them was not full capacity with his bruised rib.
Since their rate is 105.00 an hour - with only 1 1/2 men we would have been there all day.
The movers readily accepted our help and asked and encouraged us to bring items up onto the truck - which now after the move is over they are claiming my husband broke the bed.
Not one time when we called Ben during the move did the mover who broke the bed speak up and say that it was my husbands fault at that time only now -
Why would I sign a damage report and then sign a release saying 2 men and a Truck are not responsible- ??
I am in the vehicle shipping business and will be sure to advise my clients NOT TO USE - 2 MEN AND A TRUCK "
