Be careful. They pump you for lots of money up front without telling you the exact information you need to make a good decision. I was moving into a storage unit. I was encouraged to take the full replacement value insurance. The company both packed and moved for me. I again used Wheaton to move my stuff from storage into the house. When I began unpacking, I found many items packed badly. Heavy stuff on top of fragile stuff. Of course some of it was broken. I put in a claim for a small amount of money to replace what was broken due to the packing they did. I was refused the claim and was told I was to inspect everything that was taken off the truck before it went into the storage unit which as we all know is completely impossible. I feel completely ripped off. The salesperson should have been ethical enough to discuss the insurance options and what would happen with moving into a storage unit with me before I was asked to make a decision on how much insurance to purchase. They claim I should have read their materials, but what do you do? Make the salesperson sit there while you read through the all the booklets they give you before you work on your paperwork? Perhaps next time I will. A very low ethical company. Lessons learned? Don't have them pack for you and don't purchase a lot of insurance if you are going into a storage unit.
