Service okay, subcontractors not okay

I would be wary of using this moving company. I contracted with this company for a long distance move, and they were professional and reliable.
Unfortunately they contracted out to two other parties that were not professional or reliable, and subsequently my delivery was delayed.
The contracted movers on one end 1) charged me more than agreed on--and insisted on packing items I asked them not to, for a fee. The contracted movers on the other end 1) stood me up for the delivery time (and day) on which they had scheduled 2) refused to return calls about missing the appointment, and when they finally called me after being contacted by Transport Van Lines were rude 3) threatened to damage my stuff--and did! 4) refused to put together the furniture that the movers had disassembled on move-out.
I followed up with the company to complain about the service and damage, and never received a response.
