I booked Raven Movers on the recommendation of a trusted colleague. They confirmed my move date once via email and twice when I called. They NEVER once contacted me with details about the move, instructions, etc. They have no answering machine or voice mail. The did not call me the day before the move to confirm the details as they said they would. I had to call them (in a panic). They are impossible to reach as both numbers on the website don't even dial through. I stayed with them only because my colleague said they were 'flaky' but very good and nice. The morning of the move I called at 8am (1 hour before the move) and was told the truck would be there between 9 - 9:30am. They never showed up, I started calling using both their numbers, the calls went unanswered. By 12:00 pm I had to call around to find another last minute mover. Raven Movers in Arlington, VA turned my moving day into a huge traumatic nightmare. Use them at your own peril. If (I am guessing) they had not wanted to move me at the quoted price they should have said so up front and not just decided to stand me up for a better deal.
