late pick up and very late delivery

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This move cost us thousands of dollars move than we were told. The company was late picking up our items and it cost us our deposit because we were not able to clean the house or have the carpet cleaners come in. Also we were told our items would arrive 4 days after pickup. It was two weeks later. During this two week time frame, we had to change hotels twice, pay extra pet deposits, and finally went and bought a matress to sleep on in the house while we waited to see if and when our itmes would ever arrive. When we called customer service they did not know who had our stuff what state it was in or when it would arrive. We called the first driver and he told us he no longer had our items. He said everything was taken off his truck and he did not know why. HE WAS IN NORTH CAROLINA at the time. We were advised to call the police by several people. I did not sleep, I was sick with worry, it was terrible. After our itmes arrived I called to file a claim with customer service. I sent forms to complete and told once all the needed paperwork had been received by the claims office I would hear back within 120 days the results of our claim if anything. They ask you to jump through many hoops in hope that you will give up. Copies of all paperwork are requested several times and when you call to get help you are sent to many different machines. Our claim was to be resolved by today and yet it is not. I decided to warn others about using this company. Our family has decided to hire someone with a CDL to drive a rented truck so we know where our items are and when they will arrive because we will follow the truck. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE WORRY AND EXTRA MONEY WE SPENT BY BELIEVING THIS COMPANY. There are other lies we were told as well however it would take a week to type the many problems we had with NATIONWIDE.
