My company out of nowhere picked us up and sent us clear across the country from Seaford, N.Y. to Los Angeles. It was a big surprise and we were not at all ready for this since we had just settled into a new house and we had to move the kids again to someplace new. (Needless to say, they are sick of moving!)
Among all the calls we got about the move, we got one from Moving On Time and I found them to be straight up and honest guys. Jordy looked for everyway possible to give up advice and tips so that we can save as much money as possible and Shaun proved to be a scheduling genius, since we were under tons of pressure to get everything done on time so our kids would be settled in, make new friends and be able to start school. (We have 4 kids.)
They took all the pressure off of us, made sure that my wife would be as calm as possible and not pulling the hair out of her head from pressure and frustration. Shaun and Jordy had a ton of ideas and recommendations that made this the best move we ever had. They had a lot of patience to go over the inventory a thousand times and make sure it was right and the quote was honest and very close to what it cost in the end. (Only $100 more than the quote, which isn't bad on such a big move.)
The coordination was really great. We knew days in advance when the crew were going to be there to pick us up and the guys were great. Tommy the foreman and Bob the driver were really great and showed a lot of patience. We knew by the next day when they were going to be out in California. The only thing they couldn't tell us was exactly what time they would be in L.A., but it worked out really well. They got everything into place in the new house and were really careful about everything and there was only some silly and limited damage and it was taken care of quickly.
We would certianly recommend Moving On Time without hesitation.
