After dealing with a year and a half long downsizing from a Los Angeles home to a Hillcrest condo, we had finally reached our "living with boxes" limit.
We got to the point where we were going to get rid of stuff we needed more time to decide upon, or we would regret our decision. Enter Marina Self Storage through a Yelp recommendation.
I can't say enough about this firm and its staff. The paperwork is quite minimal, the security they have set up is not just dependent on videocameras, but very "hands-on" by the staff through the different policies they have in place.
Not only that, but if you need help, you can rent a truck from there for a three hour period that is free except for the gas usage. One of their staff members accompanies you to your place (as you drive the truck) and helps load the truck and then unload the truck and place the contents in your rented storage unit.
If you got too large of a unit and whittle some of your stuff down, you can always downsize to a smaller, less expensive unit, too.
The staff is courteous, helpful and more than accomodating.The prices are very reasonable, considering the security and their help in moving.
I can't say enough great things about them. Check them out...you'll be very happy!
