I used Iron Horse because they were recommended to me by my realtor. They were not the cheapest but within the range quoted by others and also an Alameda, CA company. I live in Alameda and felt good about supporting a local company. They were early, clean, respectful, fast. Nothing was scratched or broken. Everything was well packed and protected. They took the time to locate items where I wantd them and then patiently moved them when I changed my mind. Their final bill was less than quoted. I believe they are affiliated with United Van Lines. I would recommend this company to anyone in Northern California. They took good care of me and even came by a week later and picked up my mountain of discarded boxes. Good service!
