Once our last kid went off to college my wife and I decided it was time to downsize and also try and move a little closer to the coast, as we both grew up by the sea and missed it terribly. We wanted to find a reputable long-distance carrier, so we went through a list of review sites and managed to find Interstate Movers, who had a lot of good things said about them (as well as, of course, some not-great reviews, like with any company). I called them up and went through all their credentials, and once I was satisfied put an estimate together with them. The price was within the range we'd been looking to pay so we booked, paid the deposit, and 5 weeks later we were on our way to California, followed by Interstate's truck with all our belongings! (Minus what we sold). Everything came up rosy, so we wanted to add to the good reviews out there.
