My worst nightmare came true using this moving company. Lies, no returned phone calls or emails, late pick-up, even later delivery, items were stolen/missing/damaged...you name it.
To stat from the beginning, I booked my move more than a month in advance knowing that I absolutely needed the delivery date to be prompt due to work related responsibilities taking me out of the country. When I called to find out when my items were being picked up, I was told they changed the time and would be there later. After 5 hours of waiting, three men showed up to pick up my items. We reviewed the delivery date and they charged me 70% in CASH in order to ensure this would happen. They also charged me OVER $900 MORE than the original quote. I called Adam to discuss this and never received a return call. arrwaited during the 3 day window in California for my stuff to arrive, calling each day only to be told it was confirmed for delivery. Never came. I later learned that it had NEVER EVEN LEFT NY depsite being picked up over 3 weeks ago. Call after call, I received a different story. Then finally, two hours before I was to get on a plane, I got a call from a random truck drive (not with this company) saying he had my stuff but needed cash in order to deliver it. He would not deliver a thing unless they were paid in full. I was horrified but wanted my belongings. Two young men dressed in street clothes pulled up to deliver half my belongings. Yes, four boxes and a suitcase were completely missing, no explanation at all. The moment they opened the doors to the truck, broken glass fell out. This was not a good sign as early indications showed that MANY of my articles were broken (including all of my glasses). In addition, ALL of my containers that were taped and sealed by ME were unwrapped....no tape whatsoever on the packages further indicating my articles have been stolen. To date, I have sent numerous emails and left voicemails for the company, NONE OF WHICH have been returned. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY. Total and complete nightmare.
