I have never felt more lied to, disrespected, or cheated in my life. Cross Country Auto and Man's Auto Transport(po box 243 rye beach, nh 03871, phone # 603-997-1145) are the WORST companies I have EVER dealt with.
My pick up date for our truck was the end of January (before we moved to CA). We moved and yet the truck was still in our landlord's driveway for 60 DAYS!!! We luckily have another vehicle here, otherwise, I don't know what we would have done. The company NEVER RETURNS PHONECALLS, unless it's convinent for them, ie them taking your money, after that they say, I know NOTHING ABOUT YOUR CASE?! I think that is funny considering, I dealt with this one person, TOM HENDERSON for a while, while he was taking my money. Now funny thing, he doesn't know who I am. Sorry buddy, but at least own up to something.
There website SAYS they will refund money if your vehicle is not picked up in 7 days, they SAY there is no hidden fees, they SAY they have many drivers, and are not brokers. ALL LIES!!!!!!
They ARE Brokers, and they make you sign something saying basically if anything happens, you can try to sue, but you must pay for even their legal fees, in their pre-chosen court.
I BEG YOU DO NOT TRUST THEM IF YOU DON"T WANT TO RUIN 70 DAYS OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!
When our truck was finally picked up many months later, they told us only a couple hours before they were to arrive, and so being in CA now, I had to call everyone I knew to get someone to where the truck was to hand over the keys.
Then when our truck arrived here LATE, ( I had to keep setting aside times to be around because they kept saying it was coming) The trucker from MAN'S AUTO TRANSPORT FROM NH, insisted we pay $50. more because HIS CONTRACT said we owed $50. more, not for gas or anything, just DIFFERENT PRICES ON OUR CONTRACTS. He also insisted that if we did not DRIVE AN HOUR TO PICK UP OUR VEHICLE HE"D LEAVE WITH IT AND CHARGE US MORE MONEY! Through this all of course nobody at cross country auto could be contacted.
