Classic Van Line - Huge SCAM!! Do NOT use then for your move!

I contacted Classic Van Line and was given a quote of $2900 to move my items from one state to another. I worked with a "relocation specialist" who I spoke with over the phone and went from room to room listing everything that I owned. We agreed on the price and I received a binding quote and was told that there were no additional hidden fees. I told them the date that I had to move out of my house as well as the delivery date and he told me that it would be a 24 hour turn around. The "relocation specialist" also stated that they were a family owned company with their own drivers, trucks, and each mover had at least 3 years of experience. He assured me that they were NOT a brokerage firm and they would not contract out my move. Long story short, they came three days late. They did not have enough room on the truck because it was half full with someone else's stuff! And to top it all off, they were contracted movers in a rented Ryder truck! I was forced to sign a new contract with this new company because my buyer had to take possession of the house and it was a holiday. Otherwise I would have told them to leave and found a different moving company! They ended up making several trips to a storage facility and charging me double the price! I contacted the company repeatedly to find out when I would get my stuff and the two women that work customer service were so nasty to me. They made my move a nightmare. Eight days later, I get a last minute call that they will deliver my items but they wanted even more from me! They held my items hostage until we could agree on a price. They drove around my new town with everything I own threatening not to deliver my goods and take off to another state to do a different job. We contacted the local police and they told us if we wanted our stuff we would probably have to pay them and pursue legal options at a later date. Absolutely do not use this company. They are beyond unethical. This is a classic bait and switch scam. Do your research!
