Terrible service – duped into the typical movers scam. Unmarked truck for pick-up, one of guys had to pee every 20 minutes and made a mess all over the bathroom every time. We were over the cubic volume of the estimate by 10%, so they raised the price by 80% - almost doubling the cost of the move! They said if we didn’t like they would unload all our stuff off and leave. This was at 10P at night on the last day we could be in our sold house. The customer service line is a farce. It’s just an answering service (for 80-90 moving companies) that just repeats the moving company has 21 business days to deliver and the driver will call 24 hours prior to delivery. The web form to “track your move” is a joke – I submitted multiple requests and never got a response. Delivery was a mess with only 2 people showing up to unload. We started at 8P and worked until 10P with my wife and I doing most of the schlepping from the house to the truck as we were desperate to get our stuff. Then the guys slept in the semi with it idling and air brake whooshes all night long to finish in the morning. The goods were delivered 3 weeks late with lots of damage. The driver had the audacity to mention that we should be thankful to get our stuff this soon. If I hadn’t called sales and raised a ruckus the driver was going to make a couple California swings and maybe get to us in 2-3 weeks. This is a horrible industry in general and screams for better regulation. Sell your stuff and cram what you can in a U-Haul.
I submitted a claim to to the supposedly impartial 3rd party adjuster for $2400 for damages and overcharges. After 6 months of just silly delays we're supposed to get $72 back. I'm not holding my breath to ever see a penny. BTW all these reviews are fake - try contacting any of the good reviews. I did after I was duped and never got a response.
