Some people here are getting their companies mixed up.
AffordableMovingCompany.com is not a moving company or a moving broker. We do not take deposits and we do not own any moving trucks. We provide information such as relocation guides and checklists as well as cost estimates from licensed movers including ABF, Door to Door and Service Magic.
Each of of these companies is a nationwide franchise and although their customer satisfaction records may not be 100% (who's is?), they are certainly not involved with moving company scams off any sort.

There are numerous local movers in almost every state using some variation of Affordable Moving or Affordable Movers as their company name but that's not us. We are an information broker working in partnership with top professionals and legitimate service providers. Beware of dealing with unlicensed movers.
NEVER use a moving broker because all they do is get in the way. ALWAYS hire a mover after you verify license and insurance and when possible deal with a larger company.
