My move wasn't a very big one but I was still worried because I have many antique items that were given to me by my mother before she passed away.
I looked for a moving company in my area (Miami) that had experience with packing and handling special items.
Even though it was a small move (about 20 items of furniture and 50 boxes) the manager of the move crew reccomended to me that they should make 2 trips, the truck was a 24' truck so they could of easliy loaded everything onto the truck in one trip but he didnt want to stack my furniture because it is old and fragile.
I was moving only 10 miles away and there was no extra cost for the second trip so this worked perfectly for me.
Everything went perfectly and not even a scratch to my furniture.
I should mention that I moved from a third floor to a third floor with no elevators so the movers had to manuver my furniture down and up quite a few steps, (there was no extra charge for the stairs either).
Bottom line, I was very happy with the service.
I forgot to mention that Mark was very nice and helpfull over the phone.
