First off, based on all the reviews of this place, I was extremely nervous to use them. They not only gave me the best quote for my local move, they were willing to use a flat rate instead of a per hour charge (which ensured the movers went quickly and didnt lag around doing nothing and charging it for me). The movers were super friendly and very good at what they were doing. I had about 50 pieces of furniture to move and there was only one thing that was damaged, and it was a lock that popped off a cabinet (it wasnt noticeable and didnt damage my furniture, and was an easy fix). Everything was padded and loaded into the truck and delivered where it was supposed to be, in the amount of time they said it should take.
The only negatives I have are, make sure you have EVERYTHING in your contract. I had stairs outside of my apt where I was moving from and I made them put in the contract they will not charge extra for stairs (since it said on the contract that they "reserve the right to charge for extra services" or some such BS and stairs was one of the items listed). They got to the location, saw the stairs, and complained that they werent told of the stairs and that I should be charged extra for them, I am SO happy I got them to write in the comments section of the contract that I wouldnt be charged for stairs. Because I had read reviews and made sure that was in there, I saved myself money and headache, since they called their company and it was resolved in 2 minutes that they would not be charging me any extra.
Their phone lines kind of suck. I tried calling and asking about my upcoming move and got disconnected a bunch of times, but really thats probably not their fault.
