I am writing this review for my move #T709778. I booked TransUnited Inc based on the reviews on their site and by my interaction with their sales person "Paul". My furniture was scheduled to be picked up on 2nd or 3rd of January, 2015 from Greenville, NC. Paul was extremely courteous while charging my credit card with an advance of $346.36 and but never ever bothered to follow up even for a single time regarding the move.
Moreover, to my surprise no one called even a day before the move. Me and my wife left at least 20-25 voice messages asking for the status of the pickup. On 3rd January some one from dispatch dept called and said they can only pick the furniture on 5th January. Since we were flying out of Greenville on 4th morning and we had to vacate the apt by 4th, there was no way we could have waited till 5th January. Also i told the person that this was my first condition when i paid the advance. I asked for "Paul" and he told me that he is not reachable.
Eventually we have to throw all our furniture and salvage whatever we could. The worst part is that it’s 12th January and they have not returned my advance. Whenever i am trying to reach their customer care, they put me on hold after listening to my story. This is my worst nightmare. I have no trouble shipping my car from another mover. But this one is just horrible.
