That's how long it took for
State To State's 3 man crew to unload every damn thing I own from two moving crates, bring them up multiple flights of stairs, put them in designated areas of my apartment, assemble my bed, set up my TV, and have me sign all the appropriate paperwork.
33 MINUTES.
My whole life. Unfolding before my eyes in the same amount of time it takes to watch an episode of The Bernie Mac show and go to the bathroom. It's a little humbling, but a good sign considering my general hoarder tendencies.
I was told there was a minimum amount of time that you pay for (2 hours, I think) and that 30 minutes of that time goes to account for their travel time to your place. In following those rules, I *should* have been charged more money (at least $120 more), but the super cool moving dudes didn't see it that way (plus, I tipped them REALLY well), so they basically left it on a high note saying that the way things worked out, they should actually owe me money.
