We recently used Starcity moving to move us from our two bedroom apartment in Montclair NJ to a three bedroom house in Tenafly. Dean, the owner, came by to give us a flat rate of $1000 which was right on par with the two other estimates that we received. We chose to go with Starcity because of how friendly and helpful Dean and his office worker Brianne were throughout the process.
3 movers arrived to move us on a rainy day. We were quite pleased with the fact that they blanket and shrink wrapped all of our furniture quite diligently so that nothing got wet. They also did a good job of taking the furniture apart, taping the hardware to the respect furniture pieces and assembling everything with ease on the other end. All of our furniture made it to the new house intact. Rolando's crew was paid particular attention to not damage the floors and the movers even took their shoes off to prevent our new place from getting wet.
Even though this move took Starcity longer than they probably budgeted for, they kept their word and only charged us $1000. Needless to say we gave Rolando and his guys a well deserved tip and will highly recommend Starcity to anyone looking to move.
