We contracted SelfMoves USA to perform our move from Maryland to Georgia and I've had nothing but positive things to say about there service.
From the initial phone conversation with their sales staff, they have been polite and knowledgable and very flexible. We had some trouble (due to weather) on the day of our move and they were very understanding and accomodating. The move was moved back 3 days without any problems. As I started loading my trailer, I realized that I needed an extra day to load as it was just myself and my daughter. Again, no problem.
The trailer was picked up on a Monday morning and delivered on Wednesday afternoon - as promised by SelfMoves. I had a couple of dolls that were scratched (due to my bad packing of the box) - otherwise everything came out perfect.
I want to thank Jennifer and Valerie for their professionalism. I am 69 years old and was a nervously old lady throughout the move, but those 2 girls kept me calm and informed.
I have also spoken to Kevin several times. Even though he owns the company, he had no problems getting on the phone with me and answering the the thousands of questions I had about the move.
For people who want to save money and move with a reputable company, I recommend SelfMoves. I do not plan on moving again as my moving days are over and I know live near my other children. But, if I need to - my first call will be to SelfMoves.
