I was really nervous of what to expect after reading some pretty bad reviews.
My job relocated to Fort Worth, TX and I was moving from Tampa, Fl .
Kristina set a great price, binding from the start. No hidden costs or drivers trying to get extra money, like some reviews state.
Charlie, logistics manager guaranteed the delivery would come between March 2nd and March 8th. Though it was noted in the quote, I was trusting them to their word. That was the only time-frame I had available to accept delivery.
For the pick-up, driver Tavares and helper Chris arrived late due to a larger than expected move that was about 3 hours away. They kept in constant communication with me so I knew exactly when to expect them.
These guys had already been on the road since 4am but showed no signs of slowing down.
They were courteous and professional, went over all the paperwork and kept wrapping and packing the whole time.
I felt that they took great care to ensure my belongings were properly packed to avoid damage.
I drove up to Fort Worth and the weather was TERRIBLE. Massive accidents and road closures due to snow and ice. I had a feeling that this would be the reason for a delay in my delivery. I was shocked to receive a call on the 2nd of March from driver Max stating that they were in Dallas and would be at my house the next day between 9am and 2pm. They arrived promptly on the 3rd of March (earlier today as I write this) at 10:30am!
Both driver and helper were extremely efficient. They had the whole cargo unloaded and unpacked in under 2 hours. There are no missing boxes or items, no damage and delivery was sooner than I was realistically expecting. I really appreciate the Summit folks. This was the first time I have ever used a long distance mover and they earned my trust.
