Arrived an hour late! Overcharged on wrapping furniture that they insisted was necessary.....then they tore my Futon mattress straight through the wrapping. Did not know how to load a truck after numerous attempts to explain to them that they were not doing it right. Most of them didn't speak English and couldn't understand anyway. When I told them everything was going to fall and that it needed to be loaded right, they said it wasn't their job and left. They just wanted to throw things in the truck and leave. We had to undo everything that they did and pack it up all over again. STAY AWAY!!!!
Costs more to just have them moving boxes than it does for Albert Movers to come and do everything professionally because they charge you for more later....and start trying to use intimidation when you ask them to do anything different than what they think they know how to do.
My boyfriend didn't realise until half way through that this was the same company that had dropped something on the hood of his car a few weeks earlier down the block. They parked right in front of his car and when he came out he had a huge dent and scrape on the top of his hood. The thugs tried to intimidate him and lied and said they didn't do anything.
Worst experience of movers in New York!
