When I was shopping out for movers to move across country from Delaware to Oregon I recieved numerous qoutes for several movers. I choose Precision because they were cheaper than most and I spoke with Jeff in Sales who seemed very informitive and told me that my stuff would be picked up and immediatley shipped to Salem Oregon and be stored at a local storage company until we arrived and to call them to have them deliver it. When I arrive and got an appartment I called them to have them deliver it to me. I was shocked to find out that my stuff was in there storage facility in NY and I had to wait 2 weeks for the truck to come pick it up from NY and ship to me. I told them that I was assured and told by Jeff that he told me that it would be in Oregon waiting for me. So I called Jeff back and he was rude and to me that just sucks for me. Plus my original qoute was $1,500 and now my stuff weighed more and was going to cost me another $1,500.00 They told me that when my stuff arrived and delivered I would have to pay the $1,500 in cash once I inspected it. I had no choice to accept it because I needed my stuff. Once the movers arrived the said that they could not get into my apartment complex, when clearly I just seen another company do it. So I agree that they could unload it at the front and dolley it to my apartment. They movers said that it would cost me an additional $400 to do that. I was so frustrated and waited soo long for my stuff I told them to just let it and I would do it myself. Then the movers would not open the truck and unload my stuff until I paid them in cash $1,500. I argued that How do I even know if that was my stuff and if it was all there. They threaten to call the cops and just leave with my stuff. So I had to pay them and once I got my stuff unloaded and they proceed to insult my wife and call her names in foriegn language. Once I started going thru my stuff there were numerous dishes broken, furniture damaged and I was missing several boxes and even a whole dresser. Plus my matteres were stained and ripped and all my Playstation 3 and Wii games, controller and Consules were missing. I also found boxes retaped. This totaled $2,000 dollars missing. I Then called Precision to complain and they transfered me to claims who was no help at all and the told me that they will investigate and call me back.. Well they never did so I called them again and they said that my insuranced only covered damaged items for only up to .60cents per pound. They offered my $125 dollars for the items. That was just a slap in the face. It has been 2 months now and still no resolve. Please stay far far away from this company. If anyone has a civil suit against this company I will join it.
