They broke my armoire, then refused to pay for it "because it's made of pressed wood." The movers ADMITTED they should have wrapped it in cellophane, but didn't do it. They also broke two mirrors, and a nice lamp. Also, they lost my ladder, and they gave me SOMEONE ELSE's suitcase.
They also pulled the classic bait-and-switch...gave me one quote over the phone, then loaded my stuff, then told me the price nearly DOUBLED.
They lied about the delivery process. Since my driver had so many pickups to make (complete with backtracking), my shipment was in danger of being late. So over the phone, the company promised to send a "relief van" to get my stuff, then bring it to me, so the driver could make all his other pickups. Turns out, the relief van never existed. I found out later that my driver drove many extra hours to pick up everything....across multiple states. I could see the driver was very tired. You do the math about the number of hours he was on the road...and whether that was safe or legal.
Oh by the way, the delivery was late anyway. Big surprise.
Horrible company. Cheap, but not worth losing your stuff. Stay away, they don't care about their drivers or their customers.
